What is vector art

Vector art means an object-oriented image or drawing image, which is mathematically defined as a series ofpoints connected by lines.

Vector graphics can be drawn based on geometric features and can only be generated by software. The file occupies less internal space, because these types of image files contain separate images and can be recombined freely and without limitation.

Vector graphics mainly describe graphics through straight lines and curves. The elements of these graphics are points, lines, rectangles, polygons, circles, arcs, etc., and they are calculated by mathematical formulas. For example, the vector graphic of the flower is actually the outline of the outer frame composed of line segments. The color of the outer frame and the closed color of the outer frame determine the color of the flower display.

Extended data

The most obvious feature of the vector diagram is that the color and line edges of the vector diagram are very smooth, such as arcs. If there is unevenness, the vector diagram is lower than the answer, and there aremany small pieces of color on a color block, which is inferior. A high-quality vector graphic should be, whether zoomed in or out, the color edges are very smooth and very clear.

Advantages of vector graphics: small files, image elements of editable objects, enlarged or reduced images do not affect the resolution of the image, the resolution of the image does not depend on the input and output devices, the lines are very smooth, the thickness is the same, and the edges of the colors are very smooth.

The disadvantage of vector graphics is that it is difficult to redraw images, and the fidelity of real photos is very low. Highly natural image drawing requires a lot of skill, and it cannot produce colorful, complex and changeable images.
